What is clip2?

clip2 is the frictionless web clipboard. It allows anyone to instantly create a shared workspace (a "board") where they can stick notes, thoughts, or snippets of text. There are no logins, no setups, and no onboarding required—just pick a URL and start typing.

Key Features

• Zero Friction: No sign-ups required. Just go to any `/url` to claim a board.
• Public by Default: Unless a board is upgraded to Premium, there is no privacy. Anyone who guesses or possesses the URL can view and add notes to your board.
• Immutable Notes: Once a note is placed on the board, it cannot be edited or deleted. This ensures transparency and prevents accidental overwrites.
• Premium Upgrades (Per-Board): Secure a specific board with a password and increase its storage limits via a one-time purchase. Premium upgrades apply strictly to the board itself, not to a user account (since accounts don't exist!).

How to Use It

1. Go to the homepage and enter a custom name, or let us generate one for you.
2. Click "Create New Board".
3. Start typing in the "Write a sticky note..." box and hit "Post".
4. Copy the URL from your browser's address bar and share it with friends, family, or colleagues!
